Hi readers! I’m Kim –
Welcome to my adventures in RVing. My husband and I decided to sell our brick and mortar house and live in an RV full time. I am wondering why we didn’t do this a long time ago. If you are wondering if it is worth it – YES, it is! I am loving every moment of it.
Who am I?
I am a wife, mom, and grandma. My husband and I have been married for 28 years. We have 3 beautiful and wonderful kids (daughter and two sons) that are the best part of us. Our daughter is married and the mother to our grandson that is the world to us. She is expecting twin boys in a few months and we cannot wait for that adventure. Our next oldest child is getting married in November of 2018 and our youngest child is living with us in our RV and going to school.
I spent 16 years teaching elementary grades K through 5. Teaching English as a Second Language was my area of expertise and my passion. I loved the kids and my coworkers. I stopped teaching to pursue other things and to spend more time with my family. I have a M.Ed. in Educational Technology and do some freelance work of developing training programs for various companies.
Being a “Full Timer” Means Many Different Things
We are not the typical “full timers” that travel the countryside and are in a new state every few weeks. We didn’t homeschool our kids, we don’t have a composting toilet, and we are not retired and living on a million dollar pension. I am not saying that there is anything wrong with those things – that is just not who we are.
If you are interested in this lifestyle or are already living in freedom, follow me. I have a free gift for subscribers – a delicious recipe that I have found has been awesome for cooking in the RV. It is a gift to say thank you for subscribing. Your email address is kept private by me and I will never sell your information.
Here is to finding your freedom!
